DR. V. JEGANATHAN FOUNDATION

“Even the poorest of the poor must get quality healthcare” this was the dream of Billroth Hospital's founder Dr. V. Jeganathan.

The foundation dedicated in his name envisions spending at least Rs. 20 lakhs per year for to meet the medical care expenses of the underprivileged poor.

Every month, the foundation would conduct at least 20 medical camps in semi urban and rural pockets where adequate healthcare facilities are not available. In these camps, poor people requiring high cost treatments like cardiac surgery, cancer treatment, neuro treatments etc. would be identified and treated in our Hospitals in Chennai. Expenses for these high cost treatments would be funded by Dr. V. Jeganathan Foundation.

This is just the beginning. In the coming years, we propose to cover the poorest of the poor living in the remote areas in the up country. At this day, we re-dedicate ourselves for the services of these unfortunate poor. This was our founder's dream too.
